A Singer/Songwriter pursuing an independent music career, Ramya Iyer started working on pop/house tracks in English with hopes to find her footing in the International Music Industry as a performing and recording artist. MTV's Coke Studio provided the much-needed impetus to her budding career as a singer. It was her first appearance on TV. She had, in the past, collaborated with indie producers on multiple lounge music albums and lent her voice to 'Kitna Pyara Vada', a mainstream album of Hindi Film Music Remixes. She then plunged herself into training in Hindustani Classical before moving to Mumbai with the hopes of becoming an independent performing artist. Ramya's recent work includes the single 'Seven Notes' with Asian Underground producer Talvin Singh and performances at as Blue Frog, Mumbai. She is also passionate about dancing and is trained in Bharatnatyam.
